Privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle the personal data you share when you request a Takto Free Scan. It covers what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated 26 June 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is CEJ Holding AB (organisation number 559581-0275), which operates Takto. Its registered address is:

CEJ Holding AB
c/o Caroline Josefsson
Vildvinsgränden 2
224 56 Lund
Sweden

You can reach us about anything in this notice, including data requests, at hello@takto.se. This controller will be updated once the dedicated Takto entity is registered.

What we collect

When you submit the Free Scan request form, we collect:

  • The details you enter: work email, and optionally your company, role, current ERP/accounting system, and revenue band.
  • The fact that you confirmed you had read this notice, and the version of the notice shown to you.
  • Limited technical information sent with your submission: the page URL, your browser user-agent string, and a timestamp.

We do not ask for special-category data, and we ask you not to include sensitive personal information in free-text fields.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use this data to evaluate whether your company is a fit for the Takto Free Scan and to contact you about it. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in identifying and reaching suitable requesters for our business-to-business product. The checkbox on the form is your confirmation that you have read this notice, not consent under the GDPR.

You can object to this processing at any time (see “Your rights” below), and we will stop unless we have a compelling overriding reason to continue.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Google (Google Sheets and Apps Script) stores the signups. Access is restricted to named members of our team.
  • Cloudflare provides the “Turnstile” bot check on the form, which processes limited technical data (including your IP address) to confirm the submission is genuine.

These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep Free Scan request data for up to 12 months after your request, after which we delete it. We will delete it sooner if you ask us to and we have no other lawful reason to keep it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected, or have your data erased.
  • Restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to our use of legitimate interest.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

To exercise any of these, email hello@takto.se. We aim to respond within one month.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the Free Scan evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
